Pewdiepie is still an awesome gamer
When it comes to the video game community, especially the YouTube community, it's hard to not have come across or heard of Pewdiepie. He started from humble beginnings and over the years his work has evolved from being mainly gaming to now becoming more of a variety channel. Being the biggest name in YouTube, it's hard to not have people want to try to poke at you now and then. In fact, some of his fanbase, the bro army, had been complaining that he wasn't focusing on making any gaming videos. They were thinking that maybe his skills were going downhill. I have a video that proves otherwise.
This video gameplay of his is for the game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. The idea of the game is that you are parachuted into a random location on a map and you have to kill the rest of the players until you're the last man standing. The battle area where you have to fight slowly gets smaller and smaller forcing you to eventually bump into the other players. So let's see what Pewdiepie does with this.
You can say that it might be luck or that he happened to be playing against idiots but I don't think so. If you look closely, you can see that he makes his decisions carefully being very tactical and that for me is why he had that result. For example, the instance where he was trying to kill the guy in the watchtower, rather than going up to try to shoot him, he kept throwing grenades until one finally killed his target. It's awesome gameplay like this that reminds me why he deserves his top spot in YouTube aside from his funny and genuine personality.

Video to understand game critics
When you read or watch a review from a game critic, there are certain things that you need to understand first before going into it. Which is why I'll be sharing you this video from a youtuber called videogamedunkey. I really respect his appreciation of good video games and he has a style and humor that makes his plays wacky and fun.
He has a lot more interesting content on his channel and his videos can range from very serious to the super wacky. Most of the times though wacky :P

Game of Thrones Season 7 Ep. 05: In-depth analysis
** SPOILER WARNING **
The next following paragraphs will contain spoilers for those who have not seen the latest episode. And especially for those who haven't seen the show. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out right now and stop reading this. Proceed at your own risk. You have been fairly warned.
Especially you Ella XD
With the new episode coming out soon, let's review the last one! There's hardly any action in this episode but lot's of great fan service and narrative that moves the plot along. So let's get right down to it!
The episode starts with Bronn pulling Jaime out of the water. I'm really curious how he was able to do that cause he seemed to sink pretty low in the last episode for how it ended. Maybe the armor is light? Who knows XD it's also weird that they weren't spotted by any of Dany's forces. I guess if that were the case, they'd really be screwed.
Then of course we have the aftermath of the battle and the survivors all bending the knee or not. The Tarly's stand defiant against her rule and they get flambeed XD it's too bad about Dickon. Not a smart move on his part. What's so wrong about bending the knee? You can just make a revolt later on if you're really defiant. What comes to my mind though is that Samwell Tarly could take over the house! They need someone to take over The Reach anyway with the Tyrells gone. I know what you're thinking, "but masternest, Sam's part of the Night's Watch! He can't own lands or titles or anything!" Yes that's true but if the White Walkers are all defeated, there won't be a need for the Night's Watch anymore and he could then take back his rightful place as head of House Tarly! It would be such sweet bliss as the ruler of The Reach has a say on what the Meisters do at OldTown. Oh how sweet that would be XP
Next is every fan boy/fan girl's dream. To have Jon Snow actually touch a dragon. Extra confirmation that he's a Targaryen people! So now we have two others aside from Dany who have touched dragons. Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister. Meet your dragon riders! I hope :P
Jorah is reunited with Dany after having cured his greyscale. They share a tender hug as Jon watches on. I'm sensing a bit of rivalry that's going to happen but we'll see. Love triangle anyone?
We got Bran taking control of some ravens and going on a scouting mission. He runs into the Night King who immediately senses his presence which interrupts his sight power. The first thing he does is ask for more ravens. Well, those were a lot of birds to begin with. How many more birds dos he need? XD
Sam gets fed up with the Maesters after taking all their shit (literally XD) and decides to leave with Gilly. Finally! He practically told them everything that he could and they still wouldn't believe him. So much for being the smartest people in Westeros. I just hope that there was something important that Sam could discover from one of the scrolls that he stole. Gilly discovered something important though. She found that Rhaegar had annulled his marriage to Elia Martell and performed a secret marriage which is of course with Lyanna. The implications of this would mean that Jon Snow is no bastard at all but a legitimate heir to House Targaryen. Let's see what more we can discover in the coming episodes.
At dragonstone, we have Tyrion and Varys discussing about how she might end up being exactly like the mad king Aerys. She obviously did not want to listen to Tyrion during the sentencing of the Tarlys so I'm hoping that Tyrion figures out a way around that. Otherwise, why be the Hand of the Queen? Varys then mentions that he receives a message from Winterfell saying that Arya and Bran are alive and the dead are marching close to Eastwatch.
Bronn tricks Jaime into arranging a meeting with Tyrion in the crypts. A very emotional reunion. Lot's of great acting here. You can feel the brotherly love between them despite what happened in the past. Tyrion came to try and broker a truce. Knowing Cersei, that's never going to happen. But at least Tyrion is trying.
After, he goes to Cersei about the meeting and she already knows. She had let Bronn go through with it knowing they would meet. I hope to god nothing bad happens to Bronn. She then mentions that she's pregnant with his child. I highly doubt that and it sounds like a lie cause the oracle witch she met before said that she would only have three children. I wonder what will happen to them.
Davos on the other hand, went to Fleabottom to get Gendry who had been working as a smith there the whole time. I always wondered what happened to him but now we know. He picks up a hammer just like his dear old dad and he's ready for an adventure.
Davos arrives first with Gendry at the boat that he used to smuggle in Tyrion. Some gold cloaks spot him and he bribes them but the moment they spot Tyrion, they become more accusatory so Gendry just kills them with swift blows to the head. Didn't even take five seconds and he killed them so easily. Gendry's pumped and ready for action!
Davos introduces Gendry to Jon Snow and they connect quickly with the both being bastards and their fathers being best friends with each other. Gendry decides to go with Jon on his journey north to stop the white walkers. Hmmm was this what Melisandre had envisioned for Gendry?
Then of course you have Ser Jorah giving a kiss to Dany right when Jon Snow passes by as if to say "We got history so don't even try it". Jon doesn't even mention to him that the Valyrian sword he's using used to be his family sword. I wonder if that will ever come up?
Over at Winterfell, we have Arya acting bitchy towards Sansa. Why she's starting some beef, I don't know why. I'm glad though that she suspects Littlefinger is up to no good. She decides to sneak into his room to find a secret parchment but Littlefinger had been secretly watching her the whole time which means that it's a set up! What exactly is in that scroll? Obviously Petyr is still up to his games so I think he's trying to make the Stark girls fight against each other. Hopefully Bran will see through all of it and reveal him for the slime ball he really is.
The last scene has us with Jon Snow and his team meeting up with the Brotherhood without Banners. I'm curious why it's only the three of them. What happened to the rest of their group? And what happened to that cool archer guy back in season two or three? We need more awesome archery stuff in this show.
Overall, the whole episode for me is really just one big set up for the upcoming episode which looks to be something truly epic cause they plan to try and capture a white walker. I honestly don't know how they're going to do that but one thing's for certain. The next episode is going to be action packed! Can't wait!

Game of Thrones Season 7 Ep. 04: In-depth analysis
Game of Thrones is without a doubt my most favorite show of all time. But you might be asking yourself, why is a gaming blog posting about Game of Thrones? Well firstly, it is GAME of Thrones and secondly, this is my blog and I can write whatever the hell I want. With the new episode coming out in a few days, you know that you're boi is gonna capitalize on that hype :D Now let's get down into the analysis of this episode shall we?
** SPOILER WARNING **
The next following paragraphs will contain spoilers for those who have not seen the latest episode. And especially for those who haven't seen the show. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out right now and stop reading this. Proceed at your own risk. You have been fairly warned.
Especially you Ella XD
Now the first thing that you should always take note of while watching Game of Thrones is the intro scene with the amazing violin music and the buildings and locations springing to life like a huge board game. What? You actually need to pay attention to that? Yes. Yes you do. The different locations and areas that spring up during the intro scene actually give you a glimpse into what locations will appear during that episode as the show tackles different characters at different regions around relatively the same time. So the show jumps back and forth among these key moments to give us a grand story telling of a fantastic saga. But what's really interesting about the intro scene for this season, is this.
As you can see, the ocean has frozen over. I'd like to thank my brother Cesar for pointing this out to me. This comes as a scary thought as this means that the White Walkers can just go around the wall. I guess that's why they're called walkers :P they're going to Jesus their way into Westeros. This is further clarified by what Sandor Clegane aka "The Hound" says when he looks through the flames in the first episode of the season. If you forgot, it's okay. That's why I'm here. He says as follows:
Ice. A wall of ice. The wall. It's where the wall meets the sea. There's a castle there. There's a mountain. Looks like an arrowhead. The dead are marching past. Thousands of them.
If this is the case then the Night's watch have little to no time and are defending in the wrong area. Let's just hope that Jon and Daenarys can get there in time. Assuming that they've finished mining the dragon glass and are finally working together.
The episode starts with the Lannister army marching away from Highgarden after taking the castle easily. The Tyrells were never known for their military prowess and were defeated rather swiftly. Thanks to Jaime's military genius, he was able to foresee the attack at Casterly Rock and instead divert all his forces to Highgarden. With this victory, he was able to attain the necessary gold needed to repay their debt to the Iron Bank as well as acquire more food for their army. Bronn jokingly (or not) mentions that he would like to have Castle Highgarden for himself bringing to mind the promise that Jaime made to him of having a castle of his own. I'd like to take a moment away first and mention how far Bronn has come from being a simple nobody in season one. Love him or hate him, he's truly a survivor.
The scene then cuts to Cersei speaking alone with Tycho Nestoris, a representative of the Iron Bank. Cersei informs him that the gold is on it's way thus keeping her promise of repaying their debt. As we all know, Lannisters always pay their debts. She does however mention the golden company of Essos. Who are they? A band of mercenaries who are notorious killers and are known for never breaking a contract. Cersei always seems to have a trick up her sleeve so we might see some mercenary action if that's to happen. Also, I'm curious as to how she could have figured out Tyrion's plan. At least it seems like she does. Is there a traitor among Dany's forces? I'm not sure.
In the next scene, we have Littlefinger giving the dagger that started it all to Bran. Bran as we now know is the Three-Eyed Raven. Which means that he can see all past, present, and future events and even speak to those in the past. Because of this, his demeanor has changed into something very stoic. As further proof of his power, he even mentions to Littlefinger that "Chaos is a ladder" which is actually what he told Varys back in season three when they were alone together speaking in the chamber room. I still remember the scene and the exchange of clever banter back and forth between the two spymasters. One, for good; focusing on the betterment of the realm. The other, evil; focusing on his own selfish gain. Here is a bit of that exchange to refresh your memory:
Lord Varys: I did what I did for the good of the realm.
Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish: The realm. Do you know what the realm is? It's the thousand blades of Aegon's enemies, a story we agree to tell each other over and over, until we forget that it's a lie.
Lord Varys: But what do we have left, once we abandon the lie? Chaos? A gaping pit waiting to swallow us all.
Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish: Chaos isn't a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some, are given a chance to climb. They refuse, they cling to the realm or the gods or love. Illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.
I'm sure that would be a big mind fuck for Baelish as the only other person who could have knowledge of them talking was Varys and Bran had been leagues away to the north. What will he do now that he realizes this? Does this affect his plans? Because we all know that Petyr is always scheming so I wouldn't count him out of the picture just yet.

Then we have Meera saying farewell to Bran who acts emotionless in their parting. Naturally Meera takes this awfully as she has sacrificed a lot for him. Could there be love there? Possibly. Bran even mentions that he's not really Bran anymore. Funny how he says it that way instead of not Bran. What I think could be happening is that there is an internal struggle inside himself for his humanity. Cause when he said thank you to Meera, there was a bit of pause and a sort of look in his eyes as if he wanted to say more. Since Bran knows everything, maybe he did this to protect Meera. Hear me out. I think he knew that if he said anything more, Meera would instead stay for him at Winterfell. But what if staying in Winterfell would get her killed? Maybe the white walkers overwhelm Winterfell and he doesn't want her to be there for that. This is of course all speculation on my part but I believe we'll see Meera again because of Howland Reed. That my friends, would be a story for another time.

The next scene shows Arya seeing Winterfell after a long time of being away. The last time she was back home was when they left for Kings Landing back at season one years ago. She has had such a long journey, gone through so much, and to finally see her home within sight must be such a feeling. Combined with the short but sweet violin playing, it was definitely an awesome moment. Then of course she meets two bumbling guards and convinces them to let her in. In an RPG like Skyrim, this would be her Speech skill and she used her "Intimidation" perk very well haha XD She then quickly sneaks away from them while they are distracted and heads for the family crypt.

The guards then reported to Sansa and informed her that she was asking for Maester Luwin and Rodrik (it killed me a little bit that she didn't know they were already dead) which of course made Sansa realize that she was really back home and knew that she would head straight to the crypt where she found her. Their reunion was nice and you can tell that each of them had a newfound respect for the other. I can't wait for Jon to find out X3 Arya also tells Sansa of her kill list and they both laugh it off with Sansa not realizing that she wasn't really joking.

They go meet Bran over at the family godswood where he likes to hang out and chill being mystical and wise and all that. He then mentions to Arya that he saw her at the crossroads heading to Kings Landing cause she wanted to kill Cersei who was part of her list. I'm sure that the two sisters realized then that Bran really can see all. He gives Arya the Valerian blade which is perfect for her quick and graceful fighting style.

Then we have the Stark trio going into the main courtyard and Brienne with Podrick looking at them as they pass. Podrick reminds her that technically, she kept her vow to Caitlyn Stark. That's actually a really nice thought considering what she had to go through to keep that promise. Brienne had also gone through a hard journey to reach where she is now and for Podrick to be her squire is flipping awesome.

What was interesting also was the wooden wheel chair that the current maester of Winterfell built for Bran. It's such a cool concept and thinking back, the late Doran Martell also had a wooden wheel chair. A wheel chair for me seems to be such a modern advancement in technology so I did a little research of it on my own based off human history (History of the real world, not GOT) and there were recorded accounts of wooden wheel chairs going way back to ancient Chinese times. It became more common from the 1500's onward in Europe with wheel chairs being provided to the rich and inventive. You get to learn stuff on this blog XD Also, what was curious was that Petyr kept hanging around the castle aviary. Is he waiting for a special message? Time will tell.

The scene changes back to Daenarys at Dragonstone. We see Missandei and Daenarys share a girly moment when Missandei mentions that she did "many things" with Grey Worm. She's obviously worried though about Grey Worm and in the episode before, Grey Worm seemed to be attacked from the sea by Euron Greyjoy's ships.

Then we have Jon Snow going into the dragon glass mine with Daenarys. The whole cave is filled with it. Dragon glass is actually obsidian. It is formed when lava from a volcano cools rapidly which leads me to believe that Dragonstone used to be a volcano. They discover the symbols left by the children of the forest and they seem to be getting closer with a better understanding of each other. Each is just being cautious of the other though. I have a feeling that Jon Snow and Daenarys will get married in the future. There is evidence of this with them slowly beginning to trust each other along with Daenarys asking for Jon's counsel when she receives the bad news and later on when Ser Davos asks Jon what he thinks of her and caught him staring at her.

Of course, it would be criminal to not mention the awesome sparring scene between Arya and Brienne. Now to go up against Brienne, who I believe is currently the best sword fighter in the seven kingdoms when it comes to single combat, and come out as even match for her is an impressive feat. Let's breakdown the fight. Brienne takes it easy which gives Arya the first win. The second time around, Brienne doesn't go as easy but Arya still manages to get the hit. The next round, you can clearly see Brienne starting to get angry and goes harder but Arya still manages to get a hit to Brienne's leg but Brienne doesn't stop and continues fighting eventually leading her to have to kick Arya to the ground. Arya does a fancy maneuver getting up and the music starts to kick into high gear signifying that things are going to get heated. Both go full out on each other with Brienne managing to knock over Needle. You'd think the fight would be over but oh no. Brienne keeps swinging forcing Arya to pull out her dagger having it end with a tie. It was an awesome scene which has left me thinking that Arya could actually be the best single combat fighter currently.

Last but not definitely not least, we have the amazing battle with the Lannister army and Daenarys' forces with her riding Drogon. It's so good to finally see the full power of a dragon unleashed. This left me in such a weird place because you had Daenarys on one side and Jaime with Bronne on the other. I mainly wanted Daenarys' forces to win of course but I also wanted Jaime and Bronne to survive. Tyrion had to see his old bannermen die in the flames and attack. I still remember him leading the defense of King's Landing back in the day. Those were people he fought with so it must have been such a helpless feeling to just watch them die like that. On the battlefield, Dickon (what a name XD) saves Jaime just in time. He doesn't live up to his name (I had to lol) Then you have Bronne being freaking "Lannister employee of the month" by hitting Drogon with the Scorpion.

And of course Jaime's brave charge against Drogon and Daenarys. A lot of people in the online forums have so many things to say of why he shouldn't have done it but you have to understand who exactly Jaime is and his reasoning behind it. First and foremost, Jaime is a man who puts his love beyond all else. He freaking pushed Bran off the tower in the very first episode. Throughout the show, he has proven that he has always remained loyal to Cersei his love no matter the odds or their taboo relationship. He could have gone with Brienne at one point but still chose Cersei. So this is always his mindset. He is willing to sacrifice everything, even his own life to protect Cersei. Cause he knows that if this dragon can do this kind of damage to an army, what more when Daenarys reaches King's Landing? He had to act and try to kill Daenarys while she was at that vulnerable moment. Others had also wondered why he didn't throw the spear and what I say to that is that he only has one hand people! It's also his weakest hand so even if he did try, there would be a high chance that it wouldn't be accurate. He needed to be sure and charged onward with his heart pounding and racing knowing that he would die even if he was successful. Thank god for Bronne but then they ended the episode with him sinking cause of his armor. What a cliffhanger.
Welp, that's it for my very thorough analysis of the episode. What do you think? Do you agree or disagree with some of the stuff I've mentioned? Please feel free to leave a comment of what you think and I'll catch you guys on the next episode peeps!

Winions!
I'm currently busy but that doesn't mean I can't send you guys some awesome stuff. In the meantime, here's a video from RHRealism called Winions. He does a lot of amazing animations so do check out his channel as well.
Winion is a term when coined by gamers when your minion units literally crowd up on the enemy base and there are no champions around to stop them thus making them win the match for you. So this is a perfect and funny representation of that and what the minions go through behind the scenes.
I'll be posting different stuff for my future posts aside from League of Legends so please do check in from time to time. Till then, keep on gaming peeps!

Back to playing League of Legends!
I've decided to get back into playing League of Legends again! Yay! There is so much to get into and re-explore when it comes to the game and I'll try to bring it all to you in the best way that I know how.
I've started playing the game during 2011. If I'm not mistaken, that was back in Season Two and I've been playing off and on since then. Recently, I've started playing it again and on my first day of coming back, here is the match history of the 5 games that I've played during that time.
I've played more since then and I'll try to keep you guys updated on how it's going but my first two games were horrible! Especially my second one where I played Pantheon. I used to be so good at him back in the day. Definitely need more practice since he's still my favorite champ. But the rest of my games have gone really well. I'd like to thank my friends too who have helped me out on my games. Their ign's (In-game name) are specifically, The Lady Reaper, Crydro, dauntless.jinx and IannaCarelle. Thanks guys!
I'll try to also post a YouTube video of my games maybe once a week? Or maybe snippets of highlights that I think are cool and noteworthy. Depends. I'm using the replay function of the game client and I've made a long highlight from it. I kinda regret doing it this way though cause the file size was so huge! (That's what she said XD) and uploading it took hours. I also had to convert it to mp4 cause it comes in a webm file format. But anyway, I really just wanted to try uploading onto YouTube. I'll make em better in the future so this will have to do for now.
Here's a link for the match:
I tried to get the replay of my latest one as MF but what I did for that match was use Xsplit to try to record the gameplay but it just ended up making me laggy in-game and the end footage was super laggy. I think it also affected the replay of the client cause I can't even download it. It keeps saying that there's some kind of error. I'm thinking it's cause of two recording programs running at the same time. Oh well. Lesson learned.
Let me try to give the details as best I can. It wasn't my best match of that day. My better one was the MF one but anyway, my buddy "The Lady Reaper" (guy who reaps ladies :p) who played as Singed went straight to the enemy jungle. Naturally I went as well to try and help him but I didn't know that he was just trolling. Got damaged by the Lux and he eventually got himself cornered and killed. My other buddy "Crydro" also went to the mid for some reason and got himself killed as well. I think he was also trolling. There are some interesting duels that I try to capture at the top with the two Yasuos and at one point I got a double kill while ganking bot :D Overall, we won due to teamwork. What doesn't show in this video is our team chat. It only shows the "All Chat" and I'm so sorry about the trash talking. It's really common in Philippine Gaming unfortunately. At least most of it is in tagalog so you won't understand unless you speak a little tagalog.
Well this'll be it for now. Thank you so much for reading and please feel free to let me know what kind of content you'd like to see on here. Is there a game you'd like me to review? Let me know! Till then, keep on gaming!

Hello World!
Welcome! Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my blog. This is the first time that I've decided to make a blog that revolves around games of all kinds. Hence the name of the blog, Varied Gaming.
But first, a little bit about me. I've taken up to learn Programming for College and one of the first things that they teach you is to create a simple program that gives a basic output which says "Hello, World" and I felt that it would be very appropriate to include it in my first post. It's also fitting since we will deal mostly with video games which are made up of codes. But don't worry. We will also tackle board games and role playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons.
I have a lot to learn when it comes to blogging so expect a lot of changes in the future as I aim to make things better for you. Also, I would love to hear some feedback from you. This is after all for my readers so any comments and ideas would be great. I aim to please so here we go!
